AbraCap Small Kit Type A

The AbraCap Abrasive Caps and the flexible Rubber Holders which are included in the small AbraCap Kit Type A are novel tools for fine grinding and polishing of all metals; whenever rigid grinding is unsatisfactory Abracap fulfils their purpose. The Abrasive Caps are manufactured without a seam and are covered with several layers of grit. They can be used up to the last particle. AbraCaps Kit Type A contains coarse and fine caps. It is recommended to slightly wet the surface of the rubber holder prior to pushing on the Abrasive Cap to ensure that the cap, which has a glue surface on the inside, firmly sticks to the Rubber Holder. The flexible Rubber Holders have a longitudinal slit so that when pushing the cap on, air can escape and a used cap can be slit with a knife and removed from the Rubber Holder. There are three shapes of Rubber Holders and Polishing Caps, each in five diameters. The shafts of the Rubber Holders are 1/8” and are made of steel and securely bonded to the rubber. Recommended rotational speeds for small diameters is 6,000 - 10,000rpm and for large diameters 3,000 - 6,000rpm.
