AbraCap Small Kit Type B

The AbraCap Abrasive Caps, Sleeves and flexible Rubber Holders which are included in the AbraCap Kit Type B differ in design from the AbraCaps of Kit A in as much that the Rubber Holders and abrasive sleeves are tapered. Their are four large sizes of abrasive Sleeves and four smaller sizes of Abrasive Caps. These two features make them ideally suited for grinding and polishing of radii, deflashing and deburring, etc. Also the four smaller sizes of Abrasive Caps can be used on the larger type of Tapered Rubber Holders. Large AbraCaps and Sleeves are manufactured in two grit sizes (coarse, fine). The shafts of the Rubber Holders are 1/4” diameter and are made of steel and securely bonded to the rubber. Recommended rotational speed for the smaller types is up to 18,000 rpm and for the larger types up to 12,000 rpm

Simichrome
One of the finest all-metal polishes in the world. Simichrome is used to produce an ultra high finish. It is ideal for chrome, steel, brass, gold and silver etc. A small amount of Simichrome applied to a clean Kemet Felt Bob or Cone will remove the smoky haze often seen after final finishing. This will bring out the brilliance of the metal. Simichrome can also be applied by hand using a clean, soft cloth and then buffed to a brilliant lustre. It leaves a protective film and is recommended for use after using Kemet Diamond Compounds.
